Hello, my name is Karl Brown & I own & operate a business specializing in Computers, Networks & Technology solutions for businesses. I have been fixing computers professionally for nearly 20 years and have run my own business for almost half that time. Prior to moving to beautiful Kona, Hawaii in 2013, I was the full-time IT Director / Network Administrator for a commercial real estate company in California's North Bay, where I managed, maintained & supported the computer systems of the company's entire user base across 4 offices.
Training & Certification
In addition to being a self-taught computer geek dating back to my high school years, I received formal training in college & earned two Specialized Associate Degrees in Information Technology (Microsoft & Linux focuses). I have held a number of industry certifications, including: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), A+ Certified Computer Hardware Technician, Network+ Certified Technician, Linux+ Certified Technician & Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin. As technology is ever changing, I strive to continue updating my skills & certifications and most recently got my Zabbix Professional Certification in April of 2019.
