Any information collected will be purged upon request & we will not share your information with anyone outside Karl Brown Consulting unless necessary to provide a service or solution we were hired to provide.
What information do you collect?
In order to provide you with the best IT Consulting service possible, we will collect various forms of information about your network & computer systems. This will often include detailed hardware & software inventory of the devices on your network.
This information can include such things as as the make & model of your computers & network equipment, warranty information, amount of free disk space, a list of running programs, user accounts active on the system, software installed or uninstalled, dates & times the computer is rebooted, event log records & information about peripheral devices such as external hard drives, cameras, printers & scanners among other things.
If you are a on a monthly service contract that includes remote monitoring & maintenance, we will regularly collect system information from your network & computers that we will store it in a password protected database in order to detect changes that take place on your network.
Additionally, when agreed to by the client, we may collect user account information including usernames & passwords in order to facilitate remote access & maintenance of your network & computers.
What do you do with the information you collect?
The information we collect will be used solely to support & maintain your computer & network systems.
Will you delete the information you have collected about our computer & network systems if requested?
Absolutely. Simply contact us and we will be happy to purge any information that we have collected on your computers or network systems. (Please note that while we will be happy to remove any or all information you request, after doing so we may no longer be able to further support your computers or network systems.)
